Laura Zwynenburg

As a young girl, Laura always enjoyed creating art with many different natural elements she found around her property. Laura continued her love by taking any art classes she could get into. After high school, Laura attended Williams College in 83, to continue her love of artistic expression of the world around her. In 84, the love of art was put on hold, as life brought her new directions in Massachusetts with marriage, and a family. Moving to New York in 1996, Laura encouraged her own daughters, working with them to be able to have creative expressions in their own lives. Both continue to enjoy art as adults, with one daughter continuing her love of art at Sienna College, among other subject interests. Laura has been working with her husband with his laboratory business since 2003. In 2020, they purchased a building for his business. The building has space where she was able to finally express herself artistically, and musically, and energetically, with sound immersive events, yoga and other healing arts.

Laura continues to thrive, with her love of artistic expression with acrylics, watercolors, utilizing minerals, gemstones, and other creative tools to bring to life the art and music she creates! Laura also loves to create fabric art, and has hand created t-shirts and other clothing items. Laura enjoys participating in the art exhibits, and the local juried art shows, and being among her creative peers, living, loving, and creatively thriving in the North Country Arts District!
