I enjoy taking candid photos of people as they move through the world. The individuals in my images are often strangers, but my favorite photos help me to feel the richness of our shared and distinct experiences. Just carrying my camera and framing the occasional shot sharpens my attention and elevates my appreciation for a place and the people that live in it. The Adirondack forests and mountains that I’m lucky enough to have in my backyard are also a source of inspiration in all seasons. I usually fail to capture their beauty and strangeness, but it’s worth trying.
